What's the difference?

Mediator vs. advocate

Mediators and advocates serve distinct and independent roles in conflict resolution.

Mediators facilitate dialogue and negotiation between conflicting parties, aiming to reach a mutually acceptable resolution without taking sides. When in independent mediation practice, Eva is a neutral third party and does not advocate for either side.

Advocates represent the interests of one party, advocating for their rights and positions. When working with victims of crime or tragic circumstance, Eva is their advocate.

Both are independent from one another.
